Occasionally, we need a sympathy card for a dear friend or relative.  I made this card using the Heartfelt Creations Flowering Dogwood collection of paper, dies and stamps besides the gorgeous Heartfelt Creations Regal Border and Pocket and Heartfelt Creations Fleur Border Basic die set purchased from The Rubber Buggy on-line store.

The card measures 6 1/4" wide and 8" in length.

This is the inside of the card using the Heartfelt Creations Flowering Dogwood paper.

I added the US Artquest Mini Sage Advice prills in the center of the dogwood flowers to give the flowers more of a realistic appearance.  I just added a touch of glue in the center of each flower and used a small spoon to add the prills.

The flowers were stamped on vellum using the Heartfelt Creations Flowering Dogwood stamp with Ranger Silver Pearl embossing powder and cut out with the Heartfelt Creations Flowering Dogwood die set.  I sponged the tips of the petals with  the Ranger Pink Gumball ink and molded the petals with flowering molding tools.  I cut out the leaves with Ranger black ink and sponged some green ink to the edges before molding the leaves with a flowering molding tool and my fingers.

I added a seam binding bow behind one flower.
Hope to inspire you to make a card similar or just get out your wonderful supplies for The Rubber Buggy to start crafting this spring.

Art Impressions Windows to the World

Hi everyone, Steph Ackerman here today working with Art Impressions Window Deco Die.  This set includes  2 stamps and 4 dies.  I've created 2 cards showing you different ways of using this stamp set.

Because of the include dies, you no longer have to fussy cut  pretty curtains!

I used papers from the Prima Vintage Emporium 6" x 6" collection.  This collection includes 36 double sided papers and one each journaling stickers, journaling cards and alphabet stickers.

For my first card, I stamped and die cut the curtains, then placed them upon a die cut oval.  I created the interior window with circle dies and strips of cardstock.

I created the card then adhered vintage rose paper on top.  Ranger Gathered Twigs was inked around the edges.  The sentiment is from Stamping Bella's Winnie Peaking Out the Window.  The oval was added to the card with foam adhesives for dimension.

These papers are also from the Prima Vintage Emporium 6" x 6" collection.

I kept the card simple and placed the curtains on the top layer with foam adhesives for dimension.  Inside I used one of the stickers included with the paper pack.

Paridise using Simple Stories You are Here from The Rubber Buggy

Hi.. it's Bev today at The Rubber Buggy.  I am sharing projects this month using Simple Stories You are Here. What a great collection for vacation, holiday and beach photos. This is me all camped out ready for a day at the beach watching the family enjoy the day at the beach. Lots of shell collecting and swimming in the salt water.

Supply List:
The Rubber Buggy Products
Paper: Simple Stories You are Here Collection
Ink: Tim Holtz
Other: cardstock, burlap, cork accent, ink, Creative Embellishment stamp & Stencil, paint, modeling paste.

To start this page I did some background work. I used ripped prints on more solid paper.

I stenciled using modeling paste in sections.

Then using a plastic bag over my hand I smudged more white texturing.

I then used same plastic bag smudging only used orange paint this time.

When I get this far I now pull photos and sometime mat one or all of them?

In these closeups you can view some of the added accents and even more  accents from the collection. I added some burlap and cork to this section.

These collections have great shapes, flowers, images, alphas and I love the word strips too.

Clusters are a great accent on any page. To make it even more interesting layers some pieces flat to the page and pop up others. Here I popped up the one large flower forward for depth and dimension.

Here is another cluster added to title... it is layered, popped and mixed with stamping and cork accent.

Be sure to visit the STORE to more these and more wonderful products. Thanks for visiting today and see you again soon.

Golden Shoe

We have so many birthdays between April through August. This card will be given to another teen age grand daughter for her birthday.  I made this card using the Heartfelt Creations collections and purchased from The Rubber Buggy on-line store.

This card measures 7 1/4" x 7 1/4".

Supplies:
Heartfelt Creations All Glammed Up Shoe Die
Heartfelt Creations All Glammed Up Shoe Stamp Set
Heartfelt Creations All Dressed Up Die
Heartfelt Creations Classic Rose Die
Heartfelt Creations Classic Rose Stamp Set
Heartfelt Creations Flowering Dogwood Paper Collection
NUVO Crystal Drops - Gloss White
NUVO Embellishment Mousse - Peony Pink
Ranger-Embossing Powder - Gold Tinsel
Copic Markers
White feather
White Pearl and Gold Spray
Bazzill Pink and white card stock

Instructions:

Cut the flowers out with white card stock and sponge on the NUVO-Peony Pink with a brush.  Occasionally, I dipped the brush in water to soften the color.  Shape and mold the flowers.

Embossed the shoe with the Ranger Gold Tinsel embossing powder and die cut it out.  Adhered the shoe on the Heartfelt Creations Flowering Dogwood paper.  Apply the NUVO Gloss White on the shoe.  First glue the leaves on the shoe, then the feathers.  Adhere the roses.  Adhere the white pearl and gold spray behind the roses.

The corners are from the Heartfelt Creations All Glammed Up Shoe die set and Heartfelt Creations All Dressed Up stamp set.  Die cut four and color with Copic markers.  Adhere to each corner.
Hope to inspire you to make a card similar or just get out your wonderful supplies for The Rubber Buggy to start crafting this spring.

Beautiful Deja Vu Cards

Hi everyone, Steph Ackerman here today working with some beautiful Deja Vu papers.

These papers are almost too beautiful to work with so I kept them simple so the designs would shine through.

I created my cards from Bazzill Gummy Bear cardstock.   Using my Scor-Pal, I scored along the center to easily fold the cards.

For my first card I added a layer of kraft cardstock under the pattern paper.  The sentiment was stamped on a scrap of pattern paper and die cut with a Spellbinders circle die.  For more definition, I die cut a larger kraft circle and placed it under the sentiment.  I then placed it on the card with foam adhesives from Scrapbook Adhesives.

For my next card, I used a left over strip and simply punch a border.  For a bit more dimension, I also punched a strip of kraft cardstock and placed it under the paper.  Hello was stamped and then die cut with a Spellbinders label die.

Thank you for visiting.

French Market Card with Netra

Happy Wednesday everyone. I hope your week is going by really well.
Today I am sharing a quick and easy card with the French Flea Market
Collection by Photoplay and Julie Nutting.
The collection is perfect shabby chic lovers.

I did not want to cover up much of the papers, so I added
flowers along the side. I like the heavy flower look off to the side.
I will toy around with this look a bit more.
I will link the flowers that will be awesome for this look if you want to try.
I hope you like this card.

Elpie Selfie in a Box

Hi it's Jennifer here with a Birthday Box Card
it is for a friend who is Elephant mad and going to be  turning 60.
I do have to go and Invest in the Lawn Fawn Finely's 123 Dies
so I can create the 60 going on the front flap.

So to create the box I used the LF Scalloped Box Card Pop Up
I used the Banner and line from the set  at the back a little
hard to see.

I used 3 sets of stamps from Lawn Fawn Elphie Selfie,
I have coloured them in a range of colours from
